Return Policy for Original Artwork

I want everyone who buys a piece of my art to be completely satisfied and to be able to make a purchase without worry. Once you have received the work you have seven days to live with it to make sure it is the piece for you.

If the artwork has been damaged in the post please keep all packaging and refer to my full returns policy below for further details. I aim for your experience of working with me to be as smooth and positive as possible.

If you experience any problems at all regarding your order please email me at lara@laraneriart.com and I will be happy to help.

Thank you.

Original Artwork Return Procedure:

Whenever possible, I prefer to deliver artwork myself. If you are local to the DFW area, your artwork will have been hand delivered, and I will be happy to come pick up your return item. Please contact lara@laraneriart to schedule a pickup.

If you are not local to the DFW area and would need to ship your return back, please unpack carefully and retain all packaging until you have decided that you are happy with your purchase.

From the time you receive your original artwork, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund.

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within three (3) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive artwork you’ve purchased from Lara Neri Art and are not fully satisfied, you have:

Seven (7) days to contact us about your intent to return the work

Three (3) days from the day you contacted us to ship out the artwork. ***Do not ship the artwork before contacting us.***

If you do not notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 3 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact us for an assessment of your specific situation.)

Custom Commission Artwork Return Policy

Custom commissions are taken on at the discretion of the artist.

Custom artwork is created in collaboration between the artist and patron. The patron is responsible for communicating clearly any preferences in regard to materials, size, and details of the piece before the piece is begun, and so the patron is aware to some degree of what to expect of the completed piece. The patron pays a 50% deposit + supply fee on initiation of the piece.

Upon completion of the piece, the balance + any applicable taxes are paid.

At this point, the patron has seven days to live with the piece and decide if it is everything desired.

If, at the end of those seven days, the patron is dissatisfied with the artwork, the artwork may be returned (either by arranging a pick up by the artist for local DFW sales, or by following the return shipping instructions listed below) for a refund of the balance paid upon delivery. The artist will retain the initial deposit and supply fee.

Once the piece safely reaches the artist, Lara Neri Art will process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any). Artwork damaged due to improper packaging will not be refunded.

Additional shipping fees may apply for international returns.

If Custom Art arrives damaged

I always recommend hand delivery when possible, and I will do all that I can to ensure hand delivery. This is the safest way for you to get your piece. If I damage the work during the delivery, I will take responsibility and either refund you the full amount of the piece or repair the damages.

If the piece is shipped, Lara Neri Art cannot be held responsible for any damages.

- If you choose option one (below), it is more likely that your work may be damaged in shipping. You may purchase insurance, but you must make yourself aware of any limitations on such a policy. You may or may not be compensated for your damages.

- If you choose option two (below), it is highly unlikely that your work will be damaged in shipping. You may purchase insurance, but you must make yourself aware of any limitations on such a policy. You may or may not be compensated for your damages.

- If you do so within seven days of receipt, you may choose to return the piece for a for a refund of the balance paid upon delivery. The artist will retain the initial deposit and supply fee.
