I combine traditional techniques with my own unique interpretation and my love of beauty. Some of my work hints at the simplicity and peacefulness found in traditional Asian art, some at the stylized iconographic depictions in ancient Egyptian art, and some at the colorful, celebratory art of Mughal India. I love exploring various traditions, and my love of travel and cultures all over the world plays a great part in the formation of my artistic ideas.
I hope to encourage the pursuit of beauty, real human connection across cultural boundaries, and an appreciation of both the similarities we share & the differences that make the world such a colorful, interesting place.
